THE CHARLES DARWIN EXPERIENCE
INFO
THE CHARLES DARWIN EXPERIENCE is the University of Arizona's ONLY short-form comedy improv troupe. Founded in 1997 by Tony Carnevale, DARWIN's name is inspired by the theory of evolution. Charles Darwin once said, "it is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change."
DARWIN performs every Tuesday night at 10:00pm at the Scoundrel & Scamp theater, located near The Rogue theater and Time Market. Every Tuesday night performance is COMPLETELY FREE. DARWIN also occasionally performs at outside "gigs", like sorority events or walk-a-thons. (I'm actually not sure if we've ever really performed at a walk-a-thon, but there's a first time for everything! Please get in touch if you want Darwin to perform at your event!)

DARWIN rehearses Sunday and Wednesday nights every week. Wednesday is a workshop day, where we focus on fine-tuning our skills through exercises. Sunday is typically reserved for coming up with the set list for the Tuesday show and practicing the games for that week.
We have auditions for new members in both the Fall and Spring. DARWIN is never looking for any specific number of new members, but rather just for someone(s) who will add another piece to our puzzle of improvisers!
